Sore nipples frequently occur in mothers who are breastfeeding their infants. Signs can include discharge, whether it's clear, milky, dark, or even bloody fluid leaking (or being squeezed) out. Breast pain can be anything from slight sensitivity to a burning soreness. It can vary from a rash to an inversion, when your nipple decides to retreat into your breast.
